Tekonsha 90195 P3 Electronic Brake Control is a great unit that comes with a pigtail connector for splicing into truck wiring. The controller also works well with a prewired connector for factory-installed tow packages. The unit is dependable, does not run down the battery and shuts off automatically after some time. It includes a mounting bracket that can hang the unit or hold it the other way. The unit comes with a manual override, and the brakes activate as soon as you step on the pedal. The electric brake box is 3.75 inches wide and 4.75 inches deep. Compatibility with the vehicle varies; some vehicles require a dealer to program the computer to recognize a trailer brake module.
