ALPS Mountaineering Rendezvous Chair is a great camping chair, although not recommended for hiking as it is heavy. It comes with a shoulder bag for carrying, making it easy to take on camping trips. Reviews state that it is comfortable, durable, and low to the ground, making it perfect for outdoor events and concerts. However, some people find it difficult to get out of if they have difficulty getting up from the ground. The back of the chair is just under 26" when folded up, with an unfolded height of around 22". The measurement without someone sitting in the chair is 4 inches, the measurement with someone sitting in the chair would vary but would be below 4 inches, making it suitable for events that limit chair height. The chair is made in China and has swivelling discs on the bottom that can take the pressure off certain areas. The bottom support bars may dig in after a short amount of time, so it is recommended to bring extra padding for comfort. The chair is sturdy, close to the ground, and can hold larger people comfortably. There have been concerns that the black plastic piece that connects the arms to the back rail can break after a few uses, but overall, customers are happy with the product as it is comfortable, durable and a good value for its price.
