It is an exterior and interior air sealant that creates a long-lasting, weather-tight seal around window and door assemblies, preventing moist outside air from entering and conditioned indoor air from escaping. It is easy to gun and tool in all weather conditions, ensuring that wind-driven rain and condensed water are diverted to the flashing membrane and the water-resistant barrier before it can enter the living space. Overall, customers have had a positive experience with AirDam, but there have been some issues with expiration dates on the product. Some customers received expired product, but it seems that the date on the package was actually the patent date, and the production date can be found by looking at the lot number. This issue was cleared up once customers figured out how to read the production date.
