Answer: These clips are 30mm in diameter and will not fit around 36mm legs. -

Answer: I'm not entirely sure, but these clips can open up wide enough to slide over the legs. -

How do you fix this clip flat to the board when there is a lip on the back?
Answer: If there is a lip on the back of the board, you may need to remove it over a short distance or use a small piece of packing with the same depth as the lip. -
Question:
What is the purpose of the plastic bar on the back of these clips?
Answer: The plastic bar on the back allows for sideways movement (left/right) to accommodate any misalignment of the clip to the leg. -
Question:
Will they slide into a 5mm groove along the back of the plinth without using screws?
Answer: No, these clips are designed to be screwed to the kickboard and are not meant to slide into a groove without screws.
