Resposta: There is a screw on the side where the prongs are. Remove screw and "open" plug. It spreads open from the bottom as pictured. Connections are then exposed. Very simple job. -

Resposta: This is a non polarized plug for appliances designed specifically for non polarized inputs. In such cases, the hot and return lines are interchangeable. If your appliance is polarized, DO NOT use this plug. Use a polarized plug only! -

Resposta: They will take a round wire also, have no problem with that.

Leviton 101AN 15 Amp, 125 Volt 2-Pole 2-Wire Non-Polarized Angle Plug is a great value for a quality item. The plug is easy to install and works perfectly for small indoor lights and appliances. The "L" shape keeps the cord close to the wall, making it safer to push furniture closer to the wall. The flat plugs make it safer to push furniture close to the wall and the product is very convenient to install. The plug is also easy to use and can fix cords that have been chewed through. However, the plug is not appropriate for polarized appliances and should only be used for non-polarized applications. Additionally, it is not recommended for exterior use without proper protection.
