Interesting to note is the number of copies some zines were selling when they served as alternative sources of news and information before music papers became more timely. Overall, "Punkzines" is an excellent choice for anyone interested in punk culture and history, particularly those with an interest in fanzines. It includes a lot of material that hasn't been seen before and offers a great perspective on a pivotal time in British music.
