This construction does not allow the tire to deform under high speed pressure. On the other hand, the rubber compound prevents heat build-up along the tread area. This combination enables the tire's safe performance even at high speeds.The tire is easily controllable in summer weather conditions. The flat footprint closely follows the road surface at all times. The better contact with the road surface increases the tire's high speed handling. This boosts steering responsiveness and driving stability. As a result, it improves the steering response time and accuracy and stabilizes the structure. The optimal tread also upgrades the braking capability. The flat footprint creates friction between the tire and road surface, which significantly shortens the braking distance.
