The flag patch is velcroed. The hat fitting is subjective, and everyone has a slightly different take on hat size, what is the best, and what is not. It is a hat for those who wear glasses, and the shorter bill on the Flag Bearer is perfect for military grade ballistics glasses. It comes in one size fits all and is on the smaller side. The hat color may fade with frequent use, sun, and sweat. The original black color is good looking but is not recommended if there is a need to look clean. The hat comes with patches on both the front and back that can be changed. The solid color hats have a bit firmer material and may not pull down as nice as the Multicam, Typhon and Highlander models that look tighter around the head profile without any air gaps. In the customer reviews, some customers praised the hat for holding up well and not having any fading issues with extended use. They also liked the quality and fit of the label product. Other customers complained that the hat was enormous and did not fit well, while another customer regretted buying a new expensive hat that came with a black faded orange discoloration.
