Cox Veterinary Laboratory, who developed Acti-Flex for horses, have adapted the same scientific research to create Acti-Flex K9 for dogs, and the company has also added a beef flavor to entice the dogs into taking the supplement. Each ml of Acti-Flex K9 includes 180 mg of glucosamine sulfate, 150 mg of chondroitin sulfate, and 50 mg of MSM, as well as 50 mg of perna canaliculus, 35 mg of ester C (ascorbic acid), 30 mg of hyaluronic acid, 2 mg of boswellia serrate, and yucca. The supplement must be taken daily, and the dosage amount differs based on the dog's weight. Dogs weighing up to 20 lbs require 3 ml per day, 21-40 lbs require 5 ml per day, 41-70 lbs need 7.5 ml per day, and over 71 lbs necessitates 10 ml per day.
