The ants should be fed via the outworld and not directly through the nest. The ant habitat has some air holes for air to flow in and out, and it works well with small ant farms. The product does not come with a queen, but the customer can find a queen by going to Ants Canada on YouTube or online. The type of ant suitable for this habitat is unknown.
