The stiff portion of the floss is able to get through the metal and reach in between teeth to remove debris and gunk. The thick portion of the floss helps with deep cleaning and ensuring everything is removed from the spaces in between teeth. The mint flavor and scent is not overpowering, and the softer part of the floss can clean close to the gums. However, this product may not be perfect. Users may need to use multiple pieces of floss because the thicker portion starts fraying after a while. Additionally, some users had difficulty finding the right angle to fit the thicker part of the floss under the retainer bar.
