Lenco Sacrificial Anodes are made of zinc and are generally flat on the side that goes against the trim tab. The size of the hole needed for the supplied screw is 1/4. However, it's not recommended to use them on trim tabs as they have a short life. If you plan to mount them on a trolling motor, you would have to drill through the bottom fin and mount it on the fin. There were some complaints about the package coming close and stapled together without screws, the product not being the same size as advertised, and some customers feeling like they were baited and switched and could have purchased cheaper units elsewhere.
