It is easy to put on and take off, and the material is designed to be soft and quiet. The bag provides excellent warmth and is surprisingly easy to move around in. The bag comes in three sizes, Medium (40"), Large (48"), and XL-XXL (54") with expandable sides up to 65 inches around for those who want extra space. It is worth noting that the bag base dimensions differ according to the size. Regarding fitting, it is recommended to buy the size according to the individual's height and weight. Those who prefer less restriction should get the larger size. The Half in the Bag Heat Retention System is designed with a hard rubber base that is stiff, providing enough space for feet, legs, and the tummy. The camo XL-XXL model comes with dimensions of 18x17x5 inches wide, fitting a men's size 13 boot. The bag is easy to get into in a deer stand, and since it is not a full bag, it allows for free arm movement that does not require unzipping. The user can shoot without difficulty, and since it comes with straps to hold it to the bottom, it is not difficult to hike it to one's stand. Compared to boot blankets, which can be challenging to put on in a deer stand, the Half in the Bag Heat Retention System is more user-friendly.
