Thill Corks, Floats & Bobbers TSS Editorial Review

The reception of this fishing bobber has been quite a mixed bag, with several customers praising its casting distance but also expressing frustration over the durability and material quality. Users with extensive fishing experience highlight the bobber's exceptional performance in achieving longer casts, emphasizing its precision and accuracy in placement. However, they are equally quick to note a significant drawback: the outer coating of the float tends to crack after only a couple of uses. This flaw not only compromises the float's buoyancy by allowing water to penetrate the balsa wood but also leads to a decreased lifespan, with many users reporting they can only get a handful of successful fishing sessions before needing a replacement. The bobber's design has been appreciated for its innovative concept, yet it suffers from quality control issues regarding the materials used. Users have noted problems like easily tangled lines and fragile components, specifically mentioning the vulnerability of the tailfeathers. While some have managed to salvage performance by supergluing broken parts, the need for sturdier materials is a common suggestion among reviews. Despite these setbacks, the bobber's overall functionality in terms of accuracy and long casting does earn it points, although its premium price tag raises further questions about its value Considering its fragility. **
