Radiohead - Ok Computer

**** Radiohead's *OK Computer* continues to captivate audiences with its latest re-release, regarded as not just an important piece of the band's discography, but a monumental album in the rock genre overall. First released in 1997, this remastered edition offers a fresh listening experience with improved sound quality, praised for its clarity and detail. Fans note that the remastered album does not suffer from significant compression, enhancing its auditory appeal. The re-release includes a second CD featuring three previously unreleased tracks, which, while not at the level of the classics on the original album, still provide a valuable addition for dedicated listeners. The collection also features a host of B-sides that seem to add to the overall experience, especially for newcomers who missed them on their original releases. Despite the accolades for the music itself, the packaging has received criticism for being minimalistic, with reviewers noting a lack of contained materials such as a booklet, which could detract from the experience of unboxing such a celebrated work. While the cardboard slip case is lightweight, many listeners feel it does not adequately reflect the depth of the music contained within. Overall, despite its underwhelming presentation, the *OK Computer* re-release is a worthy investment for any fan of Radiohead or of exceptional rock music, allowing listeners both old and new to reconnect with one of the genre's highlights. **
