Resposta: It does NOT have any steel liners; it doesn't need them as it has the TriAd Lock system on the back of the handle. It's far superior to any liner lock. -

Resposta: Tip strength is more than ok. I have beat the heck out of this knife with no issues. Honestly, if it came with a 4 inch blade it would be the perfect folder. -

Resposta: I don’t own the Cold Steel ak-47 but I’m familiar with it. This is definitely heavy duty. The spine of the blade also sparks a ferro rod nicely. -

Resposta: No it is not, I believe that the type of high grade steel used S35 is USA made. But the rest of the knife itself is foreign. I am quite pleased with the knife well made and sturdy. -
