- WIDE APPLICATION – This Teflon tape is used to seal screw joints to reduce water leakage around the screw threads when connecting a hose pipe to a tap, shower head, bathroom basin, washing machine pipe, kitchen leaking sink, valve, cistern connector, radiator. It’s a practical solution for enhancing the tightness of pipes and keeping a threaded pipe connection watertight.
- EASY & QUICK FIXING - Just unscrew pipes, wrap a couple winds round the threads and close it up, everyone can easily stop or reduce leaks on valve, screw hose connectors. Small neat package takes up little space, handy to have in your toolbox for occasional minor plumbing jobs till a plumber arrives.
- EXCELLENT MATERIAL - PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) tape is cleaner and more convenient than white pipe jointing compound. VCE products don't fray or suddenly go into small threads like other brands and will be easily removed if required. It has an excellent characteristic of sealing, ductility, and corrosion resistance. Sealing temperature: -190℃ to 370 °C, PH Range:1-14, High Pressure Resistance: 150~200kg/cm2.
- KINDLY NOTE – The tape is NOT ADHESIVE and is a for joints when you join any threaded pipes together that carry water to help avoid leaks. It’s not a repair on any pipe. It can be used on MINOR gas connections if it won't be impacted by excessive air pressure after winding to cause winding failure. It is recommended that you consult a plumber to confirm.
- CONSIDERATE PACKAGING & SERVICE - The pack contains 2 spools that arrive in a resealable pouch which is good for keeping it clean and safe in your toolbox, drawer when needed again. There is Snap-On cover on these rolls to stop the tape unwrapping in your toolbox. Would this work as a temp fix on Copper pipe under he bathroom sink where there is a pin hole?
Resposta: No it won’t work for that it is purely for joints as a thread sealer. If you have a pin hole I would recommend a quick setting epoxy. -

Resposta: Our sealing tape is suitable for most threaded-installing piping devices, it is less sticky. If you are used to glue guttering, we do not recommend you to use it. -

Resposta: No, this is thin stretch tape you put over a screw thread or copper olive to increase the seal of a joint. It has no stickiness or strength to repair. If you can post photo's of the tap, we might be able to suggest something. -

Resposta: No, this is used for fitting pipes with pressure fittings. It can't be used to seal a drippy pipe. -

Resposta: I'm afraid that this tape cannot meet your needs. I think cold storage can help slow down evaporation. -

Resposta: I would not use it on a petrol can as it will perish very quickly. An O ring made of rubber would be better. -
