Can the head be pointed upwards and will it stay pointing upward under it's own weight?
Resposta: No the head can not be pointed upwards, it has very little adjustment in any direction. It is also very unstable on the stand and tends to lean. -

Is there a on/off switch near the top of the lamp aswell as at the bottom?
Resposta: No, it has a switch on the lead which is more than likely on the floor, it’s a foot switch. I have a smart bulb in, so ask Alexa too turn the lamp off 😉 -

Resposta: I wouldn't of thought so mine came in 3 parts and went together ok but with the curved part I did struggle, needed help from my partner to get it at the correct angle so took a few attempts but manged in the end. -
