Kitchen IQ 50825 Sharpener, Ceramic Plastic, Black

The Kitchen IQ 50825 Sharpener has garnered a mix of feedback from customers, showcasing its effectiveness while also highlighting some areas for improvement. Many reviewers emphasize the sharpener's efficiency and ease of use in reviving dull kitchen knives, particularly praising its ability to restore Chicago Cutlery knives to a sharp state that had been neglected for some time. The design is appreciated for being compact, making it convenient for storage in any kitchen setting. On the downside, some users have expressed criticism regarding the durability of the diamond surfaces used for sharpening. A customer noted that the diamond coating wore off quickly with regular use, leading to concerns about the overall longevity of the product. There are suggestions that other brands, such as Smith's and Lansky, offer superior sharpeners, particularly those using silicon carbide and tungsten carbide materials. Overall, the Kitchen IQ 50825 Sharpener is generally well-received for its practical functionality, but potential buyers may want to Consider durability and material quality based on comparable options available on the market. **
